Robot Attack

Robot Attack is a 1 - 2 player space themed arcade game for the TRS-80.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, robots from the planet Jidya attacked and overtook a space station from humans. The robots use this station to power their "Jidyan Land Kruisers", to scour the galaxy to eliminate humans. The human race is counting on you to invade the space station and conquer the robots. The codename for this mission is, “Robot Attack”.

The player controls a small character, who can fire in 8 directions. The player explores an endless number of single screen mazes, which always have exits on 4 sides and a door that closes behind the player when they enter. The player can eliminate all enemies in a room for bonus points when they leave. If the player stays on one screen too long, an invincible robot appears to hunt down the player. On early screens, robots do not fight back, but as the player clears more areas, enemy robots begin to return fire. The player or robots are destroyed if they touch walls. Robots can shoot and eliminate each other. The player starts with 5 lives, and when all are lost, it's game over. Goal is to maximize score.
