Beam Breakers
Description official descriptions
A sci-fi street racing game set in the crowded city of Neo York. The year is 2173 and underground racers known as Beam Breakers tear their hovercars through the skies of the city searching for the ultimate rush.
The single player campaign features 51 missions starting with your first job in Neo York (delivering pizzas) and following your rise through a criminal organization to become a champion Beam Breaker. There's also a 30 circuit race competition and "survival mode" where every police car in the city is chasing you and your goal is to last as long as possible before being brought down. On top of all that, up to 6 players can race head-to-head on a network or the internet.

Trivia
Inspiration
The story seems loosely based on Neal Stephenson's book Snow Crash. Also, the visual feel of the Neo York streets is pulled directly from the Bruce Willis movie The Fifth Element (and survival mode plays almost exactly like the taxi escape scene).
