Don’t Bother me I’m Icewind daleing

The Good
Icewind dale: the story unravels from a mere expedition to help a town called Kuldahar and becomes a threat to the entire land. Considering this is a hack and slash the story is rather deep unlike Diablo. It uses the infinity engine made famous by Baldur’s Gate. The game is Fairly long and has replay value and play with a friend online and take on the quest together something missing from Planescape Torment.

Heart Of Winter: the story has you dealing with a barbarian tribe and unravels to something bigger If you’ve ever read the Legend of Drizzt you’ll be excited to see Wulfgar the barbarian make an appearance and a added Heart of Fury mode with ups the difficulty further adding replay value the expansion also adds improved graphics.

Icewind dale 2: the ten towns of Icewind dale are being threatened by hordes of goblins you arrive at Targos as mercenaries to help defend and then you discover what’s behind it all this one uses the same engine which was outdated when this came out,2002 and now uses 3rd edition rules this one makes the interface less cumbersome and there’s also a option to completely get rid of the interface.

The Bad
Icewind dale: the number of enemies can become overwhelming and returning to the same town and dungeon crawling can become tedious it also has path finding.

Heart of Winter: Only adds five new areas

Icewind dale 2: Jeremy Soule did not return for the music

The Bottom Line
If you enjoyed Baldur’s Gate or even Planescape Torment You’ll enjoy this or if you like PC RPG’s. In this collection not only do you get these games you’ll get a disc with the guides for IWD and HOW and a IWD soundtrack.
