March 17, 2010: The company confirms to have closed its Derby studio (former Core Design Ltd.), along with cuts at the Oxford studio.
July 2008: The company acquires Razorworks, the former internal development studio at Empire Interactive. The staff of 30 people moves across to Rebellion's own Oxford set-up.
March 2007: The company acquires Ignition Banbury.
June 2006: The company acquires Core Design. The company is renamed to Rebellion Derby, as the name and intellectual properties remained with Eidos Interactive.
March 3, 2006: The company acquires the IP of the defunct developer Elixir Studios.
March 2006: The company acquires Strangelite.
2000: Rebellion buys the complete stable of 2000AD comics, along with the rights to Judge Dredd and numerous other highly popular characters and scenarios.
