February 28, 2024: Some of the staff of the closed Ridgeline Games is moved to Ripple Effect Studios.
July 7, 2021: Studio rebranded to Ripple Effect Studios, announcing a change of direction and a new campus.
January 3, 2020: Vince Zampella becomes new studio lead, announces another rebranding.
May 15, 2013: Studio rebranded again to DICE Los Angeles, becoming an auxiliary studio to DICE from Stockholm.
July 2010: Studio teams effectively split, but continue to operate from the same location. The FPS team is rebranded as Danger Close, while the RTS team is branded as Victory Games.
January 2004: The company relocates to a new, custom-designed campus in the Playa Vista section of West LA.
March 2003: The company merges with EA Pacific and Westwood Studios.
February 24, 2000: Company acquired by Electronic Arts and renamed Electronic Arts Los Angeles.
