The Cliffhanger: Edward Randy

Edward Randy is an action game set in 1930-s in an unspecified European country. The story involves the development of a deadly secret weapon and a scientist's daughter Charlotte holding a vital component of this weapon - a prism stone. When a whole army of Nazi-looking soldiers sets out to hunt for the prism stone, you, Edward Randy, is the only one who can stop them and protect Charlotte (accompanied by your unnamed palette-swap buddy, if you pay in two-player mode).

The game is a non-stop "cinematic" platformer with automatic scrolling. Edward Randy is armed with a whip which can also be used as a rope to swing around the screen at certain moments. The game emphasizes fighting hordes of enemies, while platforming usually involves jumping from one burning boat to another or surviving on an armada of nose-diving airplanes.The game is abundant with visual effects and features Hollywood-style music score.
