Sharp MZ-80B/2000/2500 Games List

This platform documents a range of 8-bit microcomputers by Sharp that ran on the Zilog Z80 microprocessor. Unlike the MZ-80K range all these computers (except where noted below) came with a monitor.

The models include:

• MZ-80B (1981) - 320x200 resolution graphics.
• MZ-80B2 - 80B with extra video RAM.
• MZ-2000 (1982) - 640x200 resolution graphics with optional color.
• MZ-2200 (1983) - A version without monitor.
• MZ-2511 (1985) - A new generation that used the Zilog Z80B processor.
• MZ-2520 - A slimmed down version of the MZ-2511, that lost backwards compatibility.
• MZ-2521 (1985) - A version with two floppy disk drives.
• MZ-2531 (1986) - Additional features such as more memory

The platform is closely related to the MZ-80K line of computers. Later models in the MZ series included the MZ-2800, 3500, 5500, 6500, and 8000 but they had a vastly different architecture although the 2800 did offer backwards compatibility with the MZ-2500 series.
