After attending the Center For Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan and majoring in advertising illustration, Kevin worked in the Detroit-area advertising industry for a number of years before joining Palladium Books*, a role-playing publisher. Raven Software then hired Kevin in October of 1997 as a 2-D artist based on his portfolio of art from advertising, role-playing and freelancing. Kevin was responsible for some of the art for the Hexen II Mission Pack: Portal of Praevus, Heretic II, Soldier of Fortune, Star Trek: Voyager - Elite Force, Soldier of Fortune 2 and Quake 4. In 2007 Kevin is currently the Art Lead on Wolfenstein.
* Kevin Long was the primary artist at Palladium Books during the late 80s and early 90s and was one of the original artists for the RIFTS RPG books. Along with RIFTS, Kevin also did covers and interior art for Palladium's Robotech and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles licenses, Villian's Unlimited, Beyond the Supernatural and other titles.
