Andy Severn is a computer programmer and games designer.

He was self taught as a programmer, originally working on the ZX-80 and ZX-81. His first published game was Breakout which appeared in Popular Computing Weekly. It was written in machine code. He wrote several games which were published by Interceptor Micros. He also created the 'Pac-Loader' system which allowed people to play a version of Pacman whilst games loaded on the ZX Spectrum.

He later worked for Codemasters as a producer until 2010. He then founded his own company Oxford eBooks and also designs websites.
