Scott Yu co-founded development studio Red Rocket Games, Inc. in 2005 and it was officially launched in December 2008. He is currently an Executive Producer at the company. Previously he was a technical art director at Electronic Arts on several of the The Lord of the Rings titles as well as 007: From Russia with Love.
He also worked at SEGA Japan (AM11) in Tokyo where he created 3D artwork and visual effects for coin-operated arcade cabinets such as Spike Out: Final Edition and Planet Harriers.
Prior to the game industry, Scott worked as a researcher at Brown and Yale Universities in the visual perception and cognitive psychology fields, with a major in Cognitive Psychology from Yale.
