Williams held positions at Acclaim Entertainment and was COO at Take-Two Interactive. While working for Take-Two, he attracted BMG Interactive and secured the license for the Grand Theft Auto series. Until recently, he was the Managing Director of bam! Entertainment. On 9 May, 2005, he was appointed COO of Codemasters.
Williams studied at Cambridge University and he is a Director at Near East Foundation, a charity organization in New York, providing structural resources in the Middle East and Africa.
