Darryl Still has a long and varied career in the games industry. He started in a retail environment at Reading University, selling computer coursebooks, hardware and early games software to students, with whom he struck up a rapport.

He left the retail environment to work briefly for a small games publisher, Incentive Software in 1984 at the age of 22, but soon left to create his own agency, Godax Developments, utilizing many of his ex University programmer contacts to contract platform conversion and development deals with a number of publishers.

He also managed development at Audiogenic Software, including their acquisition of Icon Software. After MD Martin Maynard sold Audiogenic to Supersoft, Still ran the "Top Ten" budget label for Maynards next company Maynard International, and relaunched Godax as Go-Dax, a publisher specializing in early 16-bit Archimedes, ST and Amiga titles.

He sold Go-Dax to Maynard to take up a senior position at Atari. He managed the Atari ST brand throughout Europe and became Marketing Manager for the corporation. He was involved with the launch of the Lynx and Jaguar brands with very limited budget and against strong competition from SEGA and Nintendo.

After 8 years at Atari, he left to manage a number of key affiliate labels for Electronic Arts. He quit the games industry after 4 years with the company.

After a 3 year break from the industry he returned in 2002 and became Head of NVIDIA's Developer Relations program in Europe, launching and running the successful "The Way It's Meant to Be Played" program in the region. He was Director of Content Management at NVIDIA.

In 2007 he joined the large Russian developer and publisher 1C Games as International Publishing Director.

Upon leaving 1C in 2012 he set up Kingstill International Software Services in 2012 with Peter King and publisher over 150 titles from small independent game developers following the Stiff Records model that allowed the developer to keep the IP of their own product.

Peter King left the company in 2018 and it was closed down in 2020 after the business model became more difficult to sustain.

In 2017 Still set up Kiss Publishing Ltd together with partners Gavin Cheshire and Mark Boote. KPL relocated to Leamington Spa and publish across all formats including console, mobile and streaming platforms.
