Biography edit · view history
Eshan Mathur started his career at Disney Interactive as a gameplay programmer on the same mobile team that brought Where's My Water?. Realizing his passion was for product and UX design, he moved to a hybrid designer-developer role where he shipped his first few games at Disney. He helped guide the studio through it's transition to free to play gaming, eventually leading major projects at the studio.
Eshan became a dev-turned-studio head when he founded GameCake with his cofounder, Ben Bharier. He touched almost every role at the studio, including fundraising, product design, technical direction, marketing, analysis, hiring, operations and more.
