Olivier Ledroit was born on 3rd June 1969 in Meaux (France). After studying art, he started drawing his own comics. He is especially known for the series Chroniques de la Lune Noire (Black Moon Chronicles), which has been running since 1989 and has had 12 issues so far. Other series include Requiem, La Porte écarlate, Sha and Xoco. He draws a distinct gothic style, and did the storyboards for Black Moon Chronicles and Dragon Lore: The Legend Begins.
He was contacted to shape the visual identity of Heroes of Might and Magic V.
