Aaron Flynn is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with a wealth of experience in the technology and gaming industries. As the Chief Executive Officer of Inflexion Games, he leads a dynamic team in the development of innovative projects. Additionally, Flynn serves as the Chair of The A100, an organization dedicated to fostering growth and innovation in Alberta's tech sector.
Before his current roles, he was the General Manager of BioWare. He played a pivotal role in overseeing all development activities, consolidating the company's operations, and expanding its reach. His tenure at BioWare spanned over 17 years, during which he held various leadership positions, including Studio General Manager, Studio COO, and Studio CTO.
Flynn's contributions to BioWare were instrumental for titles such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (2003), Jade Empire (2005), Dragon Age: Origins (2009), Mass Effect (2012) and Mass Effect: Andromeda (2017). He played a significant role in the development of these games, leading combat development, overseeing programming teams, and contributing to the creation of innovative gameplay mechanics.
Outside of BioWare, Flynn ventured into the realm of virtual reality technology as an investor in REinVR Real Estate in Virtual Reality. He played a vital role in leveraging computer game rendering technology to bring new property developments to life.
