John Steels started in multimedia some time in early 1995 as an illustrator and photo retoucher. In September 1995 he moved to the ill-fated Scavenger working on "Vapour". His next home was Mucky Foot where he was a senior artist for nearly 5 years working on Urban Chaos, Startopia and Blade II. He worked at Computer Artworks for a year on Alone in the Dark, Sound of Thunder and The Thing 2 before its untimely end.
He is now a senior artist at Sony where he worked on Play 2, Fired Up and Gangs of London. He is currently working on an, as yet, unannounced PS3 title.
