IP Development Director Adrian Fernandez-Lacey got his first taste of game development in his early twenties working in coin operated entertainment and gaming. Having worked on high-profile games such as The Simpsons, Trivial Pursuits and Monopoly, Adrian then moved his career to the mainstream world of video games. He joined Centresoft Ltd, an exclusive Sony distributor where he was responsible for developing the Hasbro/Microprose range and for increasing sales volume in new and existing markets.
Canadian-born Adrian continued his home entertainment career in Europe where he promoted games such as Airline Tycoon, Outlaw Golf and Shrek. Keen to expand both his creative and international horizons, Adrian moved to Mexico where he became more involved with animation and the storytelling side of the games industry. Adrianās comprehensive knowledge of video games led him to the Ubisoft Montpellier studios in 2004. With Ubisoft he has marketed and produced a number of award-winning and commercially successful games such as King Kong and the twice BAFTA award winning game Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. He has also developed new franchises including titles such as The Raving Rabbids and Just Dance.
Adrianās extensive experience has given him a diverse, successful and dynamic career within the industry and he is currently working on a number of TV, game and film projects.
