Biography edit · view history

Prakash Kripalani graduated with a degree in computer science from the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University-Kingsville in August 1992. Over the years, he held various jobs at the university, and in the Summer of 1992, he taught math classes for the TRIO program at the Bee County College in Texas, where he was hired later on as a computer consultant. His first real-world job was with Dell Computers in Austin, Texas.

He worked for them until August 1994, when he moved to San Diego to work for Presto Studios. While at Presto, he also worked part-time as a programmer analyst for the OASIS department at the University of California, San Diego.

When he started at Presto, he spent most of his time familiarizing himself with the Macintosh systems and the multimedia field. As a systems engineer, his role and duties included installing and maintaining systems, networks, software, and hardware, as well as keeping inventory and performing system backups. He also was responsible for the programming and upkeep of the Presto Studios web page. He stayed at Presto till it closed its doors (2002).

Like his brother Michel, Prakash isn’t working in the game industry any longer. Currently he is Application Engineer at Intel Corporation.
