Kazutoshi Yamane (山根和俊, born Aug. 10, 1970 in Mie, Japan) is a Japanese manga artist, illustrator, and character designer. After winning a slot in Shueisha's Hop Step Awards with the one-shot manga BERSERK, he joined Wolf Team in 1990 part-time as an illustrator, where he provided character designs for four titles: Arcus Odyssey, El Viento, Earnest Evans, and Arcus III. While at Wolf Team, he made his professional manga debut with an adaptation of El Viento in the game magazine BEEP! Megadrive, under the pen name Tetsuya Ueno (上野哲也). He left the company in late 1991 to pursue his career as a mangaka.

Since 1993, Yamane has penned more than a dozen manga series and one-shots, mostly for Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. To date, his most successful project is Gamble Fish, written by Hiromi Aoyama.
