Before joining the game industry as a software engineer in the FIFA franchise at Electronic Arts Canada, Sebastian got a Masters in Computer Science from Columbia University in the City of New York, researching graphics under the supervision of Ravi Ramamoorthi. His past research include Siggraph 2005 sketch Time-Varying Textures: Definition, Acquisition and Synthesis, and ASAI 2002 paper Using Synthetic Vision for Autonomous Non-Player Characters in Computer Games. He also interned in Microsoft DirectX D3DX group. He presented the lectures Understanding Emotions in FIFA 07: Telling a Different Story Every 90 Minutes at GDC 2007, and FIFA 08 Be A Pro: Innovating in an Established Genre at GDC 2008.
