As the Chairman of Monolith, Gary Kussman has drawn on his experience in the business world to manage corporate operations. His educational background includes a BS degree in General Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy (West Point) and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.
In addition to his educational achievements, Gary spent five years as a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army before moving into international banking, where he spent 11 years. During his last three years as a banker, Gary held the position of Managing Director and VP for Asia-Pacific for First Chicago Capital Markets Ltd. He has also managed international investments for Monolith's strategic investor, Takarajimasha, since 1995.
