Born in Berkeley California, Ken Balough spent the majority of his time in the country of Chile until he graduated High School. He was then accepted to Purdue University where he earned a Bachelor's of Science in Economics, along with a Minor in Political Science.
From 2004-2007 he worked for LucasArts as an International Production Assistant working on may of the Star Wars & LucasArts franchises such as the Star Wars Battlefront series, LEGO Star Wars, Episode III, and Mercenaries.
In 2007 Ken accepted a position as an Associate Brand Manager at Sega of America working on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. During his tenure at SEGA, Ken Balough worked on Sonic Unleashed, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, Sonic and the Black Knight, Renegade Ops, Sonic CD, and was instrumental in Sonic's 2D revival with the Sonic the Hedgehog 4 series.
After nearly 6 years at SEGA of America, Ken took a position as Marketing and Communications Manager for Latin America at SONY Playstation in 2013. His first title was The Last of Us.
