William Tang is a game designer and programmer. He is best known for creating the Horace games, although the actual Horace character was created by Alfred Milgrom. Tang was Beam Software's first employee, joining the company in 1981.
As well as the Horace titles Tang also worked on the games The Way of the Exploding Fist, Mugsy’s Revenge and Asterix and the Magic Cauldron.
Tang also edited the book Spectrum Machine Language for the Absolute Beginner which was released in 1982.
