Tyler Crook started making video games in 1998. His first two games, a Beavis and Butthead game and a Roller Derby game, were doomed to be canceled before they were competed. After that, however, he enjoyed a long run on SCEA's GameDay franchise. While he was there, he was a driving force behind the use of 3D scanning to to increase the speed and quality of the art pipeline.

In 2005, Tyler was a founding member of MACHINE the groundbreaking video game company.

As of 2009, Tyler is working as a freelance and contract video game developer. He is also working on his first graphic novel to be published by Oni Press in 2010.
