Mateusz Hyla is a Polish game creator, most often working as an executive producer and game director.
Initially, he created small mobile games as part of the Dom Biznesu software house, which he ran from 2017 to 2019. In 2018, he started working at Jujubee as a Producer. In 2019-2021, he cooperated with the Dreamgrit studio, implementing grants from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. In 2020-2021, he worked as a producer at Strategy Forge, being appointed its CEO in 2021. After the company's fusion with Jujubee, he returned to work as a producer.
He develops technologies for game production, working as a manager of R&D teams in projects like: "Development of the Grand Strategy Engine tool for designing multi-actor games real-time or turn-based strategic Grand Strategy and integrating it with Grand Strategy Artificial Intelligence Mechanism", or "Development of a framework for building artificial intelligence behavior systems in multi-act real-time games of the 'Grand Startegy' type - GS-AIM (Grand StrategyArtificial Intelligence Mechanism)" implemented under a grant from the Polish National Center for Research and Development. For the Witchhammer project, he received Creative Europe Grant, and for the Punk Wars project, funding under the "Development of Creative Sectors" program. In 2023, he received a Scholarship from the Mayor of Bytom in the field of artistic creation and dissemination of culture, under which he produces the game "Silesian Trade".
He received the Santander Development Scholarship, the "Entrepreneur of Tomorrow in Chorzów" award, and was recognized as Best Graduate for Academic Year 2013/2014 at the University of Silesia. He was also awarded the "Golden Quantum 2008" badge.
He studied at the University of Silesia, where he completed a master's degree in Entrepreneurship and a bachelor's degree in Management. He was a member of the Electoral College of the University of Silesia, Team for Quality of Education School of Management at the University of Silesia, Council of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia, Council of Student Government School of Management at the University of Silesia, The University Council Student Government of the University of Silesia. He received the Award of the Rector of the University of Silesia for his activities on behalf of the university. Worked as ProProgressio Foundation Ambassador.
He is the author of books and articles in the field of management. He writes books for children.
