Jonnathan Hilliard - Tech Director / Programmer
Jon has been in the games industry for 10+ years. A self-taught programmer, he designed and wrote several small games before becoming a professional games programmer.
After graduating with an honors degree in Computing, Jon began his interactive career at Core Design in 1992. Jon showed up for the interview with the game "Blob" for the Amiga (68000) already completed! After immediately hiring Jon, Core Design decided to publish Blob, which then received acclaim as "most original game of the year."
While at Core Design, Jon was co-designer and sole programmer for Battlecorps (Sega CD), Lead Programmer for Scottish Open (PC, Sega Saturn, and PSOne), and Engine Programmer (PSOne).
After leaving Core in 1996, Jon joined join Player 1, where he was lead programmer on Dead in the Water PSOne. Jon has programmed FPS, Beat-em-up, sports, racing, sim, puzzle, and platform titles, as well as written and contributed to multiple game designs, and technical documents. Responsibilities included: environment engined, physics, AI, Controls, collision, FX, personel management, documents, scheduling.
Jon was the Lead on Underworld the Eternal War (PS2), NHRA Championship Drag racing (PS2), Casper Spirit Dimensions (PS2) and several titles released on Mobile Phones.
More recently, Jon was TD & lead Graphics engineer on Freaky Creatures, a PC MMO-light.
