Kinetic visual novels are visual novels that contain only one route for their story, so generally have no branching paths or choices for the player to make. Although it is possible for some games that identify themselves as kinetic visual novels to contain some choices that will slightly change some dialogue and minor events, but still will ultimately lead to the same conclusion of its story.
