Zombie Anarchy

Zombie Anarchy is a base building game about constructing and managing a base in a post-apocalyptic environment overrun by zombies. At the same time raids can also be performed as small-scale real-time tactical battles, controlling up to three characters, from a larger pool, with different abilities. The base building itself is fairly standard. Starting with a headquarters, different types of buildings can be placed surrounding it, opening up abilities or providing resources. All of these can also be upgraded multiple times. This requires resources and most of these are gathered by performing raids. Those can be selected from a map and usually there are multiple events to choose from. Resources can also be generated by buildings such as a hydrophonics, a shelter or a cannery. As a free-to-play title there are waiting times for the construction and upgrades to complete and these can be skipped by using bloodstones as a premium currency.

While similar titles usually also require the training of troops, this title centers around a small amount of heroes that are not disposable and are meant to be healed and upgraded with new abilities. There is also no energy/stamina system to start raids, but characters can get hurt and then require food as a currency to heal. Each character can be controlled separately during raids and usually different buildings need to be destroyed before the event is complete. Kane uses an axe to attack and can throw Molotov cocktails to burn buildings and zombies, Nathalie fires a gun and has a speed ability that affects all characters in a radius etc. There are also many consumable items like a medikit, bombs or a turret that can be deployed. The player also has to decide where to attack first, for instance targeting a sniper in a watchtower.

After each raid there is a bonus round played on a static screen where three shots can be fired at a group of zombies for a chance for common, rare or super rare items. Here too the premium currency can be used to get additional shots. The game includes online PvP battles with raids on the bases of other players while yours also needs to be defended at times. Watchtower, Molotov throwers and mounted guns can be bought for defense. There are daily rewards, daily challenges and temporary events.
