The physical copy of this game. It installs with, and plays through, the Big Fish games manager
thumbnail
The game starts with a slideshow starting with the announcement of the final round of 'The Maze' and ending with the contestant's disappearing. There is no voiceover.
thumbnail
The title screen and main menu. The player id is limited to seven characters with no spaces which seems a little mean. This is the studio's entrance where the game begins
thumbnail
The game's customisation options. It can be played in windowed mode
thumbnail
There game has an optional tutorial at the beginning
thumbnail
This is the first hidden object scene with its accompanying tutorial text. All hidden object scenes are like this, the items are named and nothing is hidden or needs to be combined or manipulated
thumbnail
After solving a couple of puzzles we are in the studio building. This is level one of the game.
thumbnail
Throughout the game there will be zoom windows like this where has to acquire a tool or some other object to release an object
thumbnail
All puzzles in the game have a Skip option and an 'Info' button which explains what needs to be done.
thumbnail
Not many games have a toilet scene
thumbnail
In the journal there's an in-game map for each level. The red cross is our location, green shows where there's an action waiting to be performed, brown means either completed or visit later
thumbnail
There are lots of clever locks in the game. This is a tangram puzzle which assembles the keypad after which we need the code and something that converts symbols to numbers
thumbnail
There are quite a few puzzle like this in the game where we have to press keys, buttons or levers in the correct sequence to turn all the lights on
thumbnail
A safecracking puzzle. We have to find something that will let us hear the tumblers fall - the device we get lights up in response to sound so there's no need for speakers or headphones
thumbnail
Looks like an easy puzzle but only using every alternate button is harder than it first looks
thumbnail
Level two is set on a ship and related areas
thumbnail
There are a couple of arcade games within the game. To play each we had to search for coins first
thumbnail
Level three starts in a cave
thumbnail
Another traditional puzzle and once again we need to find the right tool to solve it
thumbnail
A clever piece of block sliding fun
thumbnail
The first of three similar puzzles must be solved, this is the first and easiest. Click and drag the jewels. Identical touching jewels explode and disappear. Clear them all
thumbnail
Level three ends in an observatory
thumbnail
Level four does not start well
thumbnail
Ah! The good old recreate-a-pattern-by-rotating-parts-of-the-image puzzle
thumbnail
There are two levels to this arcade game which is really about programming the movement of the red car
thumbnail
Level five is where the bad guy gets really nasty
thumbnail
In level five all the missing contestants face certain death unless we can save them. This poor woman is suspended over a spinning propeller
