Fly, my pretties! Fly far, and see the world...
The Good
I liked Microsoft's replacement of the oh-so-awful graphics and sounds that were available in MS Flight Simulators 3.0 and 4.0, which ran on an MS-Dos Prompt, with it's own VGA setup and your PC's internal speaker, emitting window shatteringly high pitched squeals. I also like the ability to be able to fly more popular planes, such as the Boeing 747, and some of the more unique planes, like the Sopwith Camel.
The Bad
I didn't like that fact that after the takeoff, you seem to stall a lot, and crash all the time. The inability to be able to control the movement of the plane with the keyboard made it even more infuriatingly pants, making you want to throw it away after a while.
The Bottom Line
It's a good game, but has been bettered and overtaken by other "more advanced" flight sims, leaving it behind, but not forgotten. It's good for the newbie players, but may infuriate them from time to time.
