The player is given instructions before each puzzle and they are not allowed to start a puzzle until all the necessary pieces are in the inventory
thumbnail
There are lots of locked door puzzles, this one's based on a maze
thumbnail
A typical scene early on in the game. Note the inventory, the player has only one of the four blocks that must be collected which is why three are greyed out
thumbnail
The story unfolds through documents that are discovered as the game progresses, these are added to the game's journal
thumbnail
A typical hidden object scene<br>The footprint and soap bubbles require an additional action to make them visible which is why they are in a different colour
thumbnail
When a hidden object scene is completed the player is usually rewarded with a few new inventory items
thumbnail
The game's journal expands upon the story as the game progresses
thumbnail
In Novice mode, when there's a hidden object scene to be completed the relevant area is highlighted by dancing snowflakes. In this scene they are on the left over the oil drum
thumbnail
Difficult puzzles have a skip option which comes into effect when the timer bar is full
thumbnail
An unusual puzzle to unlock a backpack that's been laced up
thumbnail
Though this character appears in on a few game sites as a cover for the game he's actually not that important, he exists to give the player a meat cleaver and that's all
thumbnail
The second part of the game starts here. When the player has worked out what to do they end up in the hospital.
thumbnail
This is a surprise, it's an abandoned military base but they left someone on the operating table!
thumbnail
For puzzler's all the old favourites seem to be present in this game. Here's a rotating pipe puzzle
thumbnail
This is a 'simon says' puzzle. By repeating a sequence correctly more and more boxes are added to the left of the screen until the player can access the roof
thumbnail
A tricky magic number type of puzzle. Haven't come across this sort of thing very often
thumbnail
There's an in-game map which shows the player how far through the game they've progressed. The player cannot go to a location by clicking on it though
thumbnail
There's even a morse code puzzle
thumbnail
Towards the end of the game the player starts to deal with ancient artifacts and ruins
thumbnail
Another puzzle that I've not seen before, it's a kind of reversal of the popular minesweeper game
