Trivia
Development
Ion Storm used this game to burn the first part of their contract with Eidos. It was an unfinished project by 7th Level and Ion Storm thought that they would complete the game rather quick so they could give Eidos what they wanted. But they were wrong: the game code wasn't even half-way finished, so they needed much longer for developing the rest as they expected. At that time, they boasted they could "sell 500.000 copies". Well, when the game was finally finished, it was totally outdated by any means. The game didn't sell well in the end.
German version
The German version of this game is censored. The following was changed:* All blood graphics have been removed. * Soldiers are no longer called human, but "bionic". * The resulting sound, when rolling over soldier, has been removed.
Unfortunately, there's no known way to restore those effects.
