Trivia
SuperFX Chip Use
The game is interesting because it's one of the handful on SNES that used the SuperFX chip, an additional microchip in the cartridge that boosted the graphical capabilities of the system and allowed a limited use of 3D-polygonal graphics. It also has an impressive intro (by SNES standards) which mixed in-game graphics with polygonized video segments, making it look like a music video.
Actually, it looks a lot like an award-winning Amiga demos called 9 Fingers and State of the Art that also used these type of "polygonal" filters over what looks like a rotoscoped video. And unsurprisingly so - one of the developers, Paul Endresen, is actually the author of those demos, and a member of Spaceballs demogroup that released them.
