Description official descriptions

The Tech Com forces trying to defend earth from the destructive Skynet machines for many years. Terminator T-800 has a new deadly plan - travel back to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor, and thus prevent her son, the resistance leader John Connor, being born. If you can get to a time travel device, you can stop this. The stakes could not be higher - without John, your force would be nothing.

The game is a third-person action game, with 11 levels across a range of terrains. You can play as Kyle Reese, Catherine Luna and another secret character - each of whom has their own moves, and can use 20 different weapons ranging from rocket launchers to explosives. The camera view can be used to target an enemy.

Better then Terminator 3, But not as good as Terminator Redemption

The Good
The game is very good story wise. The game's story line is a prequel to the 1984 movie. The game has great weapons, great designs, and the character designs look very good. The terminators in this game are very detailed. The game is good, but it has some flaws I must point out. I love the song at the credits. Fear Factory-Terminate. Well, the game takes place all in the future, which is good. The 3 characters Perry,Reece, and Luna are very cool, and have their own part of the story. The weapons selection in this game are ok, but perhaps could have been improved.

The Bad
The flaws. 1.The camera in the game is broken, it follows the player, then switches to another stupid camera angle.

2.The control scheme varies with the camera angle. Making it very hard to navigate in levels.

3.The terminator explosions should have been worked on just a little more. Example: In the Infiltrator level, after you destroy the Terminator in its 2nd form, it explodes, and you can clearly see the Terminators' head fly off, but the Terminators' 3rd stage, it has its head.

4.Difficultly of the game is not easy, no matter what setting you have on.

5.Unlocking cheats are impossible.

6.Gets old in about a half hour. Those are pretty much it.

The Bottom Line
Its a good game, got some bad flaws, but good game overall, you'll just need to take some time to get used the controls and stupid camera angles.

THE BEST TERMINATOR GAME EVER.

The Good
Alot of people say this game is crappy but there wrong. This game tells the story of what happened just before Kyle Reese traveled back to 1984 to save Sarah Connor from the T-800. The 3rd person view takes a while to get used to but once your used to it you'll be fine. The cinematics are some of the best I've ever seen. The voice acting is good and the types of Terminators in this game are sweeeet.

The Bad
Though you can get used to it the 3rd person view is still sometimes annoying. Outside of the cutscenes the graphics are not great. No Arnie??? yup. Instead of Arnie's face they but in some crappy guy with a goatie.

The Bottom Line
A great game is you can just get by the 3rd person view. The game is pretty cheap now a days so I recommend you go buy it.

Trivia

The character Justin Perry was actually conceived from a one time reference in the original Terminator film, when Reese was being interrogated in 1984:

Dr. Silberman: So. You're a soldier. Fighting for whom?

Kyle Reese: With the One Thirty Second under Perry, from '21 to '27.
