Penguin Protection
Description official description
Penguin Protection is an educational game created by the Smithsonian Institution to educate users about the lives of rockhopper penguins. The player is placed into the role of an adult rockhopper penguin with a chick to protect. The gameplay consists of a simple animation of various situations that the parent penguin must react to, with the player given three options: Feed, Shelter or Protect. If another penguin approaches with a dialogue bubble containing some kind of sea creature, the baby must be fed. If faced with weather like rain or sun, the parent must shelter the child. If a predator bird approaches, the adult penguin must protect the chick. The game is played in three stages, with the chick getting larger each time. The game ends when the child reaches adulthood.
