Iron Front: Liberation 1944
Description
Iron Front: Liberation 1944 could be described as "ArmA II in World War II". The reason is that the game uses the technical framework of ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead, including the controls. Of course this also means that the game focuses on a realistic display of battles: heroes don't live long; every shot can be deadly. The player assigns tasks to the squad through a command menu.
The setting is Operation Bagration (1944) in Poland, i.e. the war parties are Germans and Russians. For each, there is a campaign with eight missions plus a few single scenarios. The player takes control over multiple soldiers and uses infantry, tanks and planes.
