Description official descriptions
The Forest is a first-person open-world sandbox survival horror game, with no set missions or quests. The game starts with a plane crash, the protagonist being the lone survivor. The main objective is to create shelter, hunt for food and to not get detected by the cannibal mutants inhabiting the island. While the cannibals aren't necessarily hostile towards the player, their usual behavior is aggressive, especially during the night. For those brave enough, the area also has a cave complex to wander into and explore.
