aka: An American Tail: Fievel Goes West
Moby ID: 9620

Description official description

An American Tail: Fievel Goes West is a point-and-click adventure game based on the Steven Spielberg movies An American Tail and An American Tail: Fievel Goes West. At the beginning of the 20th century, Fievel Mousekwitz is a young Russian mouse emigrating across the ocean to America. During a storm at sea, he was tossed overboard and lands at New York City away from his family. He must now wander the streets, and interact with other mice and cats in order to become reunited with his family. And once that happens, the Mousekwitz family have always talked about moving west, onto the Frontier.

You take the role of Fievel, a mouse in a blue hat, who then moves between areas picking up and interacting with items and characters. Fievel can store an unlimited number of items in his inventory and must use these to solve various puzzles & mini-games in order to progress.

A good game but really really short : (

The Good
The main idea of this game is to guide Fievel through the major events of the first two movies. This game is an interesting option because it functions as a kind of graphic adventure game for children so the player must find the necessary objects and characters to use them with.

The game also presents a good number of mini games such as connecting the dots, pairs of cards, etc.. all simple but fun

The Bad
The skinny side of this game are its difficulty and its duration which are really low. An experienced player will take no more than 5 minutes to resolve it completely.

The Bottom Line
The main idea of the game is quite attractive and interesting, but I think that if both the duration and the difficulty had had much more polish, this would have been a quality game.
