You're the last surviving astronaut of a deep space mission, marooned on a desolate, savage world. A world where humans are prey and apes are their masters. Welcome to the Planet of the Apes on PS one (cue: suitably dramatic music). This third-person, 3D action adventure is based upon the original two Charlton Heston films Planet of the Apes and Beneath the Planet of the Apes, as well as drawing upon the original 1963 novel (so no Marky Mark action here!). As Astronaut Ulysses (AKA Taylor in the films), you must overcome your ape captors and save the human race from the nefarious simian plans. Use stealth, acquired weapons and stolen equipment to get past the ape defences and if you're discovered do your best to defend yourself with whatever to hand - it's either them or you. Make contact with sympathetic chimps Doctors Zira and Cornelius if you hope to survive long enough to save humanity. It won't be long before you're shouting "Get your stinking paws off me, you damned dirty ape!"
