Killer Instinct 2
Description
Killer Instinct 2 is a direct sequel to Killer Instinct. The survivors of the first are transported in the past and fight each other to determine who will face the evil Gargos.
While using one of the eleven available characters, the player(s) either combat against each other or against the AI in Story mode. The goal of a match is to deplete the other character's health bar by executing normal and special attacks (with a focus on combos). Each fighter also has a second energy bar which fills after being hit or blocked which, when full, allows especially powerful moves. After defeating the enemy, the player can execute a finishing move - but doing so may change the ending.
An expanded (in some aspects downgraded) version was later released on Nintendo 64.
