In the German version, all blood and gore effects were removed.

Red Dawn

On 20 March 2005, an official add-on titled Red Dawn was released for free. It was first included with the April issue of PC Gamer UK and later made available online. The expansion offers a new Vietcong cooperative campaign, new multiplayer maps, one new single player mission (Rice Fields), AI bots for the multiplayer mode and new theme music.
