An amusing adventure game in a clever setting

The Good
The best thing about this game was the unusual setting, a mix between Victorian England and mythology (your valet is a cyclops). The writing is top notch and is very humorous. The graphics are generally quite good (more on that in a second) and the voice acting is generally good as well. The puzzles are for the most part reasonable and reasonably clued.

The Bad
I do not like the art style of this game. For some reason, the developers decided to make peoples' faces look extremely weird, with the most notable example being that almost every character's nose is an odd color and has strange horizontal lines going down its length. There seems to be no reason for this odd art style other than to look different, and I found it very off-putting. The other main issue with the game is that it is only episode 1 of a longer story, and the episode does not have a very satisfying conclusion, but as I didn't pay for this episode I will not hold that fact too much against the game.

The Bottom Line
Overall, this is a fun 3rd person point and click adventure game with a fairly unique setting, interesting characters, and humor. I recommend giving it a try if you can handle the art style and the knowledge that the game isn't quite complete.
