Solitaire King: Golf Solitaire
Description
Solitaire King: Golf Solitaire is a freeware, mouse controlled, single player card game, it can be played in a window or in full screen mode.
This title was of a number of freeware games that the developer released to promote interest in the full product Solitaire King which had thirty-one different games and over eighty variations thereof.
The game is played with a standard deck of fifty-two cards from which seven stacks of five cards are dealt, face up. The remaining seventeen cards form the draw pile and are placed face down and are turned over one at a time. Any available card from the seven stacks that is either one above or one below the card that’s just been turned over is removed and placed on top of the turned card replacing it. The process is repeated as often as possible until there are no more moves to be made, then the next card is turned over and so on. This continues until either all cards on the table have been removed or all the cards from the draw pile have been exhausted. When moving cards to the draw pile the Ace counts as a low card and can only be played on, or after a two likewise the king is a high card and can only be played on, or after a queen.
The game has save/load and undo/redo functions but has no sound and no statistics are kept. It is played entirely with the mouse
