LaserAge

LaserAge is a single person, mouse controlled, space shooter.

The player's ship is limited to the bottom quarter of the screen and it is mouse controlled. The aim of the game is to destroy alien ships, collect power-ups, and achieve a high score.

The game has fifteen different kinds of alien ship to destroy and each has a different attack pattern and its own unique weapon. Each level consists of fifteen waves followed by a boss ship.

Naturally there power-ups to be captured, these appear at the top of the screen in pods and are released by shooting the pod, the trick is to catch it as it falls through a hail of alien fire without being destroyed. The player's ship can carry up to nine of these at a time.

The game has no high score table. This game was further developed and led to the release of LaserAge Gold in 2000.
