Zen

Zen is a fantasy text adventure. There is no complicated back story to this text adventure in which the player takes the role of a 'hardy and experienced adventurer'. A magician, the eponymous Zen, sets you a challenge to 'Go north into the 'playing and dying area', retrieve the golden key and in return receive riches and glory'.

This game was developed using Professional Adventure Writer. It supports the standard shortcuts such as N/S/E/W for North/South/East/West as well as X for EXAMINE, I for Inventory, H for Help and R for REDESCRIBE. It also uses some more unusual commands such as HANG, POINT, and SWING.
