Engine

After the fans' repeated claims that Worms: Armageddon was the pinnacle of the series, Team17 decided to base the engine of Worms: W.M.D. off the source code of Armageddon. The end result were noticeable similarities with Armageddon's physics.

Pre-order bonuses

The pre-order bonuses for the game, dubbed the All-Stars Pack, was given to all players for free on 15 November 2016. They include:
