Best of the series, this is the one to play
The Good
This game is basically the same as Utah Beach, but with a new mission set.
Ahhh, but what a mission! The whole game requires you to rush north as quickly as possible in order to relieve the airborne troops, and this proves to be just as difficult as it did in reality. The main problem is the single hiway, which quickly leads to huge traffic jams while your units try to disentangle themselves.
The Bad
There is one huge flaw with this scenario set, the German units enter with their full potential strength instead of their real-world considerably attrited values. As a result you're facing considerably stronger opponents than the British did in reality, and this makes the game almost impossible! This is particularly annoying for the various airborne units, who have to face full strength divisions which they didn't have to in real life. The only way to make things playable is to apply one or more of the options that make it harder on the Germans, most notably delaying the arrival of the Panzer divisions by a day, and reducing their supply levels.
The Bottom Line
Play this one!
