Zombies Hate Pumpkins DX
Description
There you are, just you and your unlimited supply of pumpkins when, suddenly, zombies begin approaching! I guess these sort of things just happen in these arcade games. Grab a pumpkin and start chunkin' pumpkins at the zombies!
Zombies Hate Pumpkins DX is an arcade game with a touch of castle defense. You will move to the left or right and pick up a pumpkin then launch it at a zombie to destroy them. Try not to let a zombie touch you or get past you or you will lose a heart. Lose all your hearts and the game ends. There are three modes of play: Classic Mode*: Just pick up pumpkins and slam them at zombies
- Carnage Mode: Use special power pumpkins and launch special shots
- Pick-Up Mode: Keep the zombies back with pumpkins and smart bombs while collecting products to increase your score

Trivia
Origin
Originally a fourteen day project to make a browser and Android-based game for Adobe AIR, Zombies Hate Pumpkins DX is an upgrade of that earlier game ported to iOS and Android, created by Monster and Monster. The upgrade has improved graphics, more game modes, better music and sound, and more types of zombies.
Google Play Android port removal
While the game was released for iOS and Android, the Android version was removed from the Google Play Store. According to David Fullick of Monster and Monster, Facebook changed their application program interface, causing the game to break. The game could have been fixed but that would taken time, which, in business terms, equates to money. As the game was not profitable, Monster and Monster decided to just remove the Android port. The iOS port is still being sold.
