Cobi Treasure Deluxe

Cobi Treasure Deluxe is a falling block puzzle game similar to Columns and Puyo Puyo where the player has to help a seahorse collect gems. Gems fall from the top in groups of three and the player has to direct them towards the seabed. The objective is to match gems so that a sequence of three or more same-coloured gems is created either horizontally or vertically. The game can be played with either mouse or keyboard and while in the air the gems can be rotated.

Some gems have special properties. These include double gems that are twice the size, danger gems that can clear out an entire row or column and wipe-out gems that clear out all gems of its colour. Sometimes an anchor will be thrown down and lock up an entire row of gems for some time. There is also the oily glooper that drips oil on gems. Gems that are oily can only be cleared with danger gems.

There are three different game modes: classic, ship shape and Sally's shapes. The classic mode simply involve advancing through the levels and reach the highest score possible. For each level the pace of the falling gems will increase. In ship shape the player collects gems from a sunken ship which is quickly being filled with water. The difference from the classic mode is that a level has to be completed before the water reaches the top of the screen. Sally's shapes is the puzzle mode where each level has a specific layout of gems that has to be full or partially removed before the time runs out.
