The games title screen and main menu.
Before seeing this screen the player must either create player id or select an existing id
There is no game manual but the in-game instructions are clear and comprehensive
An inspirational quote
This comes before the start of level one. There may/may not be others throughout the game
The game begins and uses the newspaper to set the back story
The grumpy guy in the bottom right appears and makes nasty comments whenever an outfit scores badly
The start of level one. The show must score well enough to earn a three star review in order to progress.
There's a screen like this before each show in the level
This is a style sheet. It shows what kind of clothes can be used when dressing a model in a summer outfit.
New style sheets are shown at the start the show in which they appear
The main game screen at the start of a show.
The countdown timer is in the top right, the signature styles are centre right, time to put clothes on these girls
Remember, this is a timed game!
Here the player chose the wrong clothes for the required look and scored zero
This is Mr Nasty's cue to say something sarcastic
Another disastrous look.
Short skirts and bare arms are not appropriate for winter
This is a pretty good look
The objective was to get a three star review and that has been achieved
The first show of the season is over, on to the next.
There are six fashion events and ten shows per event
All future shows and events are locked
This outfit only achieved a modest score, however the symbol in the central star means a bonus has been awarded.
This is the symbol for the 'Shuffle' power-up, there are others
At the end of a show the player is shown their highest scoring outfits and is given the chance to replay a level
By making specific outfits the player scores highly and can recall them (within the current show)
Here a classic western outfit has been put together. It scores highly and brings with it a 'matching outfit' power-up which can be used to auto-dress a model
A player can only have file power-ups stacked at any one time so "use 'em or lose 'em"
Creating those signature outfits unlocks clothes in dress-up mode
As the game progresses accessories are introduced. This bandana for example will enhance a western style
This shows how a correctly used accessory can increase an outfit's score
Every fashion show has to have a bridal outfit
The Style Eye power up. Here it shows that the white dress will score zero on a Rock 'n Roll model but 250 points when used as part of a bridal outfit
New York Fashion week is over, on to London
At the start of the game dress-up mode is unplayable because nothing has been unlocked
As the game progresses more and more clothes and accessories are unlocked in dress-up mode.
The model can be customised too
Wish there were ide scrolling wardrobes in real life!
